This time is the KEY essential to walking in His purpose and power. We cannot hear God speaking to us unless we spend time alone with Him getting to know Him. As a Christian you are a leader. No matter what your station in life you can be a transforming agent for Jesus. When you take territory back from Satan you become his direct TARGET. The surest way to be projected and protected in God’s purpose for your life is by having a P.I.T. Crew. A Personal Intercessory Team deployed with weekly updated Prayer Missions is what my new friend Kevin immediately put into action as he captured the vision and life giving importance of a solid prayer foundation for his ministry. PIT Crew Guidelines @ IPA website KEVIN’S IPA TESTIMONY Dear Friends and Sponsors, I had lunch yesterday with Bryan, a friend from church, who introduced me to a friend of his named Colin. Colin heads a ministry called IPA, Igniting Prayer Action, which probably is the single most unique ministry I have ever encountered. The short version is that Colin inspired me to assemble a core prayer team of ten individuals, called a P.I.T. Crew – Personal Intercessory Team. I’m sending this to everyone on my ministry email list in search of those ten individuals who will commit to pray for this ministry on a daily basis for a period of 90 days. Since Cara and I are NASCAR fans, it’s only natural that we have a PIT crew to keep us going!   PIT CREWS KEEP YOU ON GOD’S TRACK I have always believed in prayer, but I was freshly “ignited” yesterday to make prayer a much more prominent and connected source of power and blessing for Hope Behind Bars. We know that God formed and launched this ministry to the incarcerated, and we have watched with amazement as He has built it very quickly before our eyes. We want to stay close to God and His will, and we want to secure His ongoing guidance, power, and blessing. Are you that man or woman? IGNITNG PRAYER ACTION BRINGS THE BLESSING By Sharon Hargrave: Genesis 1:27,28  - "And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.  And God blessed them; and God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth, and subdue it."   We see the spiritual principle of "The Blessing" introduced in the very beginning of creation and continued throughout scripture, including the New Testament account of Jesus in His feeding of the five thousand.   Matt.14:19 - "And ordering the multitudes to recline on the grass, He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up toward heaven, He blessed the food, and breaking the loaves He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave to the multitudes, and they all ate, and were satisfied...."   Following are several powerful observations concerning "The Blessing" and what it means to us today: The Blessing is always spoken.  The object of the Blessing can include people, animals, or inanimate objects. The direct result of the Blessing is life, fruitfulness, provision, and multiplication. APPLICATION:  Where do you need to see the hand of God move on your behalf?  Is it with a child or loved one?  Is it in the area of finances or provision?  Is it health?  Begin praying blessings over your body, your loved one, your job, your ministry, and watch how quickly God will respond.  Faith will arise as your words and actions come into alignment with God's plan, and you will find yourself in the flow of God's blessing and favor.
