I’ve got GOOD NEWS!
What does it mean to wait on God? It Means:
— Sitting still with your mind and heart, intentionally acknowledging God’s presence with you— Psalm 16:11
— You’re coming under a spirit of repentance and turning away from your sin. The Great Physician will, most often, only operate on your heart when you are silent before Him.— Psalm 51:7
— Developing the daily discipline of being discipled by Jesus— John 15:5
— Releasing your worries, burdens, heart hurts, and offenses, so God can restore your soul— Mathew 11:28-30
— Praying in holy expectation of God, bringing His breakthrough— 2 Samuel 5:20
— Trusting God with every problem and opportunity with your whole heart, surrendering your own plans and strategies for working out your problems— Proverbs 3:5:6
— Receiving wisdom from above in the midst of a difficult conversation, thinking: ‘Now where did that come from?’— James 3:17-18
What does God do when you wait on Him?
— He blasts out anxiety and worry and gives you His peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:6-7
— Your countenance becomes radiant with His joy, love, and peace.— Psalm 34:5
— He floods you with His Spirit, flowing like rivers of living water through your heart and mind.— John 7:38
🔥🙏❤️THE SMA NAVY SEAL PRAYER TEAM IGNITING PRAYER ACTION🔥🙏❤️
Year 2 at San Marcos Academy and God is miraculously changing the culture!
We are now in our second year at San Marcos Academy, where we live, model, and teach the joyous and peace-filling art and practice of Waiting On God. Andrew Murray’s 31-day adventure into the heart of God and his “With Christ in the school of prayer” form the curriculum from which God is steadily growing the culture of prayer from the pre-K to 12th-grade faculty and staff of SMA.
From Marsha Tribe: Director of Residence:
I was watching over the students at breakfast this morning and witnessed a beautiful moment of three students coming together and praying for one another in the middle of the dining hall. 🔥🙏❤️
Later that day, I was in a meeting with the school principal about a stressful topic. Then Shawn and Aiden tapped on the door to ask if they could pray for us. We both quickly said, “YES,” and were so blessed to be prayed for by students and reminded of our need for prayer.
I am seeing more and more moments like this. It is a magnificent and strengthening reality as the whole SMA community grasps and wields the sword of prayer, the most powerful weapon given to the Body of Christ.
Will you be a part of God’s breath to finance the printing of Waiting on God in five languages?
“So, I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.” Ezekiel 37:10
