THOUGHTS & TALKS ABOUT SOCIAL DISTANCING- IGNITE March 2020
My dear friend, for this IGNITE newsletter I’d like to invite you to join me in some thoughts and talks with God about Social Distancing.
Lord, could “social distancing” simply be You saying:
“Be still and chill. Move over. Give Me some room on the couch. Please turn off everything, even your mind, and just sit with Me awhile.
Would you let Me pour out My love, My joy, My peace, and My rest into, over, and through your life? That’s My promise if you will just Give Me A High Five ~ 5 minutes to be still with Me, Your Most HIGH GOD.”
Well, now let me think about this: what if You are allowing this global Coronavirus as a way to quarantine us in our homes partly to BE with You and our families?
“AAH HA! Now you are talking My language, and you are making Me smile big time!”
I mentioned last month that we have two Equipping Workshops coming up in April, and we praise God that with today’s technology, we can ZOOM RIGHT INTO YOUR LIVING ROOM AND TOGETHER WE CAN “GO” ON A JOY & FAITH SAFARI WITH JESUS 😂😂
Our safari guides will be Paola Hall, Dane Hall, Josh Pauley, Willem Joubert, and myself, and we will equip you to live your faith with joy, partly contextualized for the Coronavirus pandemic.

OUR OVERNIGHT TENTED SAFARI: Friday, April 17th 5:00 – 9:00 pm & Saturday, April 18th 8:00am – 4:00pm ~~ special in-home camping ideas are provided for your children. Please book at LION CAMP, and one of our Safari Guides will email you back. We are currently Coronavirus Proofing all our Safari schedules and menus.
WHETHER YOU JOIN OUR EQUIPPING SAFARIS OR NOT:
It is our prayer and hope that in these days of Coronavirus challenge that you will seize every opportunity to live out God’s Word so vibrantly described in the Message version of Philippians 4:4-8.
COME ON AND LET US IGNITE AND:
“Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you’re on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute!
Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.”
